Yvonne M. Lewis 83 formerly of Kutztown passed away July 19th in the Lutheran Home at Topton.
She was the widow of Arthur M. Lewis who died in 2005.
Yvonne was born in Pulaski, Virginia a daughter of the late Leonard and Amy E. (McCardle) Iles.
She was a member of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene, Kutztown.
She is survived by a daughter Marsha E. wife of Thomas H. Olivia, Kutztown, three sons Arthur B. husband of Laurie , Ohio;
Randy L. husband of Gloria, Kutztown; Perry B. husband of Janet, Fleetwood; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren;
daughter-law- Dena Lewis, Topton.
She was pre-deceased by two sons, Kevin L. and Tim C.
When her children were young she was active in the Albany Elementary PTA. Yvonne and her husband Arthur were active volunteers
in the Kempton Community Center. She was a member of the Friends of the Library and a volunteer for many years at the
Kutztown Community Library and a was a former church board member.
She was employed by the Hamburg State Hospital, the Kutztown National Bank, and was a
receptionist in a doctor’s office in Topton.
Funeral services Tuesday July 23 at 10 A.M. in the Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home, Inc. , 346 W. Main St., Kutztown, with the
Rev. Neil E. Shea officiating. Interment in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Albany township.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kutztown Community Library, 70 Bieber Alley, Kutztown Pa. 19530
