Wayne C. Long

Wayne C. Long, 82, of Kempton, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021. He was the husband of Sandra (Hersh) Long. Born in Kempton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Miriam (Hamm) Long. Wayne was a 1957 graduate of Kutztown High School and a long time member of New Bethel Church, Kempton. He loved sports, having coached little league, B team Kempton, and enjoyed watching his children play baseball and wrestle.

In addition to his wife Sandra, he is survived by sons: Mark, husband of Sharon of TN, Paul, husband of Wendy of Blandon; daughters: Melissa, wife of Bill Houseknect of Schuylkill Haven, Sherry Richards of Kempton; grandchildren: Christina, Mitchell, Owen, Madeline, Ashley, Collins, and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by son John, sister Arlene, and brother Harold.

Graveside services 1pm Friday, October 8, 2021 in New Bethel Church Cemetery, 135 New Bethel Church Road, Kempton. Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home Inc. in charge of arrangements.
