Mark C. Luckenbill 88 formerly of Lyons and a resident at the Lutheran Home at Topton, passed away March 18 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elsie L.( Spohn )Luckenbill. He was born in Perry township a son of the late Jerry & Lavada (Heffner) Luckenbill. Mark was a member of Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, and was a production foreman at Deka Battery for 42 years. He was a WW 2 Navy veteran and participated in the D Day landing at Omaha Beach. Mark was a member of the Lyons Fire Company. He is urvived by a son Michael P., Lyons, daughter Lori L wife of Perry Welder, Blandon, brother Ray J, Luckenbill, Wernsrsville.He was pre-deceased by a daughter Susan M. in 2013. Services Saturday at 11 A.M. in the Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home, Inc., 346 W. Main St., Kutztown. Interment in Zion Moselem Cemetery with Military Honors by the Topton Legion . Friends may call Saturday 10 to time of service.
