Luther L. Luckenbill , 86 of Topton, formerly of Kutztown died Thursday in the Lehigh Valley Hospice ,Allentown. He was the husband of Mary Louise (Berg) Luckenbill. He was born in Robesonia, a son of the late Roy A. and Bessie (Miller) Luckenbill. Luther was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. Luther was employed as a bus driver for Carl R. Bieber Tourways Kutztown, and Trans Bridge, Bethlehem until retiring. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Susan wife of Larry Loeb, Florida, Robin wife of Mark Wessner, Schuylkill County, step-daughter Judy wife of Michael Bond, Topton, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren. Brothers Marvin, Galen, Gerald, Terry, sisters Bernice Van Scant, Annamarie Hojowski, Sandra Lietko.He was pre-deceased by a son Luther Jr., son-in-law Roger Himmelberger, sisters, Nancy Long, Linda and MaryLou Luckenbill. A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday October 14th at 10 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church, Home Ave. & Smith St., Topton, with The Rev. Arthur L. Hahn officiating. Inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Wednesday 9 AM to time of service at the church. The Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home, Inc. Kutztown in charge of arrangements.
