Lester J. George 92 passed away in his Greenwich Township residence March 17 th surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of the late Doris (Dolly) C.( Werley ) George who died in 2009.
Lester was born in Greenwich Township a son of the late Howard & Alma (Rahn) George.
He was a member of New Jerusalem Zion UCC, Krumsville.
Mr. George was a hard worker, farmer and iron worker for local 420. He loved the outdoors and his farm.
He was a WW II Navy Veteran.
He is survived by a daughter Teena S. wife of Larry Moyer, Kutztown; sons Brock H., Richmond Township,
Dean A. Florida; Andy J. and fiancée Stephanie Koehler, Mertztown.
Grandchildren Courtney, Timothy, Lisa, Cady, Jesse, Micah, Noah; great grandson Dexter.
Sister Marion wife of Kermit Schwoyer, Kutztown.
He was pre-deceased by brother Carl George; sisters Mildred Dengler; Laila Zettlemoyer;, Evelyn Christman.
Graveside services Saturday at 2:30 P.M. in Dunkel’s Church Cemetery, Greenwich Township with
Military Honors by the Topton Legion Honor Guard.
