Doris Mae Stephens 76, passed away March 26, in Kutztown Manor, where she was well taken care of in her last months.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert Stephens.
Doris was born in Kutztown a daughter of the late Robert C. and Eva C. (Angstadt) Oswald.
She will be remembered for her love of volunteering at the Kutztown University Cultural Heritage Center and the
Kutztown Folk Festival,also by those that knew her from Renninger’s Market and her many friends at
Saucony Cross Apartments. She was a kind and friendly neighbor to many throughout her life. She is survived by her sister, Elayne Rickmers, Kutztown.
A memorial luncheon will be held at Saucony Cross on June 1, 2014, 12 noon. Interment will be private.
