Clifford B. Schlegel, 71, of Fleetwood died January 1, 2016 in the Reading Hospital. He was born in Reading, a son of the late Brooke H. & Catherine H. (Fox) Schlegel. He was a graduate of Kutztown High School. Cliff was a cold war veteran of the US Army. He served as an SPC 4 with the 32nd ADA/94th Artillery Group at Keiserslaten, W. Germany. He was employed in the Maintenance Dept., at Kutztown University. Cliff is survived by a son Aaron C. husband of Angela (Crow) Schlegel, Battle Creek, Michigan, brother James F. husband of Mary Schlegel, Kutztown, granddaughter Alexandra Catherine Schlegel, Massachusetts, former wife Joan Biehl. Memorial services on Tuesday January 5th at 10 AM in St. Mary’s RCC, 14833 Kutztown Rd., Kutztown, with Monsignor Walter Schaffer, officiating. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of St.Mary’s RCC.
