Carol A. (Daniels) Delong

Carol A. (Daniels) DeLong, 84, of Kutztown passed away May 11, 2023. She was the wife of Alan C. DeLong. Born in Reading, Carol was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Charlotte A. (Gross) Daniels. She was a graduate of Reading High School and a long time member of Grace Church, Kutztown. Carol was a self-employed beautician serving the Kutztown area. She lived a simple life and filled her days with many passions for which she developed incredible talent. Sewing, quilting, cooking and quality time with family were among her greatest strengths.  She will be deeply missed by all those fortunate enough to know her. In addition to her devoted husband Alan, she is survived by son, Tod R. and his wife Kathy DeLong of Downingtown; grandchildren: Marta & John Cookson, Mary & Chris Rachfal, Margaret & James Wright, and Peter & Julia DeLong; and great grandchildren: Hunter, Sadie, Weston, Lanie, and Maren. In passing, Carol is reunited with her son Rycke A. DeLong. Services will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home, Kutztown. Visitation with the family, 10am to 11am, service at 11am.
