Archie D. Leibensperger 85 of Kutztown passed away August 15th in the Lutheran Home at Topton.
He was born in New Tripoli, Lehigh County and was the son of the late Morris and Alice (Hunsicker) Leibensperger.
Archie was a WW 2 Army Veteran and was an interpreter when stationed in Germany. He was a member of the National Guard for 24 years.
He was employed by the former Kutztown Foundry as a core maker until retiring, he was also a Knabb Shoe and Sheepskin dealer for many years.
Archie and his buddies liked jamming and dancing at the local hotels, he played the accordion. He grew up in the Blue Mountains and the Kempton area.
He is survived by a sister Ella Mae wife of George Angstadt, Kutztown , and many nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by brothers; Paul, Walter, Morris, Floyd, Irwin, John, Ray and sisters Verna, Mary, Florence, Helen.
Graveside service Monday August 19th at 10:30 A.M. in Hope Cemetery, Church Lane, Kutztown with Military Honors.
